    Personally, I believe we need a physical centre forward more than anything so let's bring Tommy Taylor home :)

    And if we're putting sentiment aside then John Charles (can always move him back into defence when Obbi and Carlton are fit ;))

    Hmm, having not read the title properly I'll have to withdraw Ashley Ward,
    Ronnie is the obvious answer but, given our team at the moment I'd probably still pick an out and out striker who could score enough goals and cause enough chaos in a front one or two to allow us to shore up an ailing and weak midfield.
    so.....Aylott, Geddis or Currie.

    I'd sign unfit players. But who are only 2 weeks away.

    So goalie Bert Trautmann who broke his neck in the FA Cup final for Man City.

    He was German so any VISA issues shouldn't be an problem.

    But i wouldn't drop Collins. I'd put him in Devaneys u23s at the age of 35 then release him in January.

    There's no doubt that Glavin could win games single handedly, but as things stand I'm looking for fight, passion, and all-out physicality. Has to be Ian Banks or Alan Little for me. Either will do.
