I find it difficult to call for a managers head after so few games. But if he does that on Saturday, it will be a completely unfathomable decision.

D'oh! sorry, read it as 4 draws. My bad. Either way. 5 wins is still on the optimistic side

Under Struber in 2019 we managed 3 wins 2 draws and 4 defeats. That would be my worst case scenario. Less than that and we're down.

Agree with that. We need to scratch our way to around 20 points, and hope it's not cut us too far adrift. Then there's the obvious risks that the January transfer window brings.

That selection will not surprise me one bit. Neither would seeing one of the Williams' at LWB with Styles playing CM. Despite his passes from the left leading to the sitter and the goal for Devante Cole on Sunday. Probably end up with Gomes back on the bench.

Agreed mate. We'll just have to wait and see what the team line up is. I have no idea myself what numbers will come out of the bingo machine this Saturday :)

None of what you state would surprise me. Hondermarck and the goal scorers were all considered not good enough to start by our manager, even though they performed in their last appearances. The best player at the time, Victor, was the first to be substituted. Our young inexperienced CB lasted 96+ minutes in midfield. Our import from Germany, young Remy, warmed the bench, again. No one has any idea how good he is, but stop putting him on the bench if you're never going to give him a run.

As I've posted repetitively, his squad (including omissions), starters and substitutions (apart from Sunday), have me baffled, and usually giving up 60-minutes before kickoff.

His selections are bizarre - There is an excellent case for starting Victor Cole and Iseka on Saturday but I am sure he wont - Woodrow will start for certain and probably only one of the 3 strikers who performed well most likely Iseka I would guess. If he starts Frieser and/or Oduor I wont be at all surprised though
As for Midfield if Benson isnt fit Hondermark and Gomes looks to be our best CM pairing at the minute with Styles out on the Left so no danger of that happening

Not so sure.. Sheff U were 3nil up and already in the pub. If the score was only 1-0 do you think we would have scored twice..

    No I don’t and that’s my point !
At 0/3 according to Cole the players thought they’d better do something so they did and scored hence my post when they really really want to score they can and as far as SU players being in pub no team have had to push the boat out to beat is this season not one including Sheffield Utd it’s not as if they were going full throttle to put three past us then decided to lay off . Putting McGoldrick on is hardly laying off !
They were nearly as bad as us

But none of these things will happen regularly enough with Schopp in charge. Hondermarck, Cole and Iseka will not be regular starters. He'll continue to tit about with formations and selections and no, we're not cut adrift yet, but we will be by Christmas if they don't get rid

Based on last weeks performances the front 3 should pick itself Cole/adeboyejo/iseka. Anything other than that then it will just alienate players even further.

Cole and iseka should start i even thing give them both a 5 game run see how many they can score. Odour vic and freiser have had enough chances. Woodrow is undroppable.

It seemed like the players decided to play their own way, not the way Marcus had instructed them. Even kicking out from the goalkeeper started to happen.

I wouldn’t rule out him putting Woodrow in central midfield.

As Forrest gump’s mother used to say, Schopp’s team selections are like a box of chocolates…

Not sure about that tbh , the formation seemed to stay the same but the urgency and effectiveness of the players seemed to up a gear .
