    I don't know how we can think a player who is not good enough to play as a striker at league 1 is good enough to play as a striker in the Championship.

    Actually I don't think anyone does. I think we're putting centre halves up front and wingers at full back and Thiam up front to exemplify what an utter mess our 'billionaire' (they're not by the way) owners have made of it. "Look at what I'm having to do!"

    I know why he got the nod, because he can translate German into English. On paper it makes perfect sense.

    I thought I saw a glimmer of a captain in him against Charlton, but I'm now convinced it needs to be Mowatt.

    On what basis do you rate him highly? Genuinely interested because I just don’t see it.
