    I mentioned that in the original post. I think 75 games gives a great overview of our recent form in that league, that's 18 months. How far do you want to go back? We could take in the early 80s

    I'd say its deliberately choosing a cut off half way though a season because we were terrible.
    Your argument still holds weight over two season we finished 6th and 2nd. So I wasnt really arguing agaisnt what you were saying in general terms.
    I would expect us to continue to be competitive in league one. "Pi$$ the league" is over the top though. Too many unknowns to make predictions like that. Who would have picked Luton to win the league at the start of the last season?

    I think one thing that benefits us especially the last twice in League 1 is it's less physical than before. Even the physical teams can be out footballed. We had Kieffer Moore but we didn't resort to the long ball at all.

    Unfortunately Mowatt & Woodrow will be off, I just hope we can keep Brown another season as I think he’d be superb in league one next season as a striker.

    His all round game has improved lots & he’ll be quicker, stronger, fitter & better in the air than most of the defenders he’s up against.
