It's a shame they aren't Super Human beings who need to feel like Championship footballers. Fly down, stay in a spa and all that.
I hadn't thought of that way of getting there. Makes sense. As you say, it can be an awful journey by road.
I am sorry to labour the point, but, in fact, a Tuesday evening 7 pm kick-off is closer to being halfway between the two Saturday games. Brum game finished at 5pm. 5pm Saturday to 7pm Tuesday =74 hours. Tuesday game would finish ca. 9pm. 9pm Tuesday to 3pm Saturday = 90 hours. 5pm Saturday to 7pm Wednesday = 98 hours. Wednesday game will finish ca. 9pm. Wednesday 9pm to Saturday 3pm= 66 hours. So, Tuesday kick-off would mean gaps between games of 74 hours and 90. Wednesday kick-off gives gaps of 98 hours and 66 hours. Clearly, Tuesday is closer to being halfway between the two games. Incidentally, we didn't actually benefit from extra rest time for our next league game as a result of the Derby postponement, because, as you will recall, we had the Chelsea cup tie on Thursday evening before playing at Brentford on the Sunday. I hope we do as well this time after the short break between games this time as we did then. I think I have said enough on this for now. I apologise for being so long-winded.
