    Agreed - but failing that Long would be a decent replacement.

    I know Burnley are seriously looking at Mawson so they must think he is a better player than Long though.

    Would become 'main man' Alfie's replacement. Kev Long to play alongside him. If we are comfortable in games, give Angus 2nd half game time alongside Kev. Sign somebody from lower league - young, hungry, ambitious - as an Angus Mk II.

    Only Hemsy is raving about Burke, I just know a Bradford fan who said for his age he is a very good CB and I'd like to see him here and if he's as successful as our last prem loanee then I'll be more than happy with him. In regards to Long, he did steady the ship and gave Mawson the chance to play some football but I still think Roberts could have done that job. People suggesting that we should knock money off Mawson's price just to get Long are mad personally I think he's a League 1 CB at best and he'll be on more than most of our players are at Burnley

    Well, he is. I liked Long, but he wasn't as cool and composed on the ball as Mawson is. I thought he was more similar to Roberts. He'd still be a good addition.

    If they are not selling him to Bristol city they won,t sell him to us,unless he,s going to be included in a deal.But you would have thought it will be ate am more high profile than burnley.
