Ahhh and here it comes..... changed your setting from "invisible" when Conor inconveniently got selected for ROI and now back to full visibility, once again dragging down our players. Just give it a rest please.

We can only go on what has happened so far and form open play Barnsley are also the divisions top scorers.

I like Stefan Payne though and hope he's back soon. Greet off the bench.

    When was this then Fiona?

I'm not a ROI fan, i'm not Irish. I believe the news was on Friday. There was a number of different posts on here about it. Some of I read, most I didn't.

But there was something else happening that day. The last day of the Specsavers County Championship 2016 and I was mostly thinking about that pretty annoyed. I made a post about it and then got to sleep early for me at about 11.30ish before getting up on Saturday at 5.30 to get ready for a long day of traveling to watch HOURIHANE and the team play in sussex. Long day.

Absolutely priceless. You are a piece of work Hemsworth. Others have been banned from this site for less than that. Complete trolling at its worst. Not even worth trying to debate that post. I've got better things to do with my life than engage in pointless debate with a troll.

So, now you know about the news, are not distracted by the cricket, have got back from Brighton (did you go, you never mentioned it), do you have the time in your busy life now to pass comment on Hourihane getting selected for ROI. Are you pleased for him?

You may care to note that we have played three more games than the prem. And yes the league table may not mean everything at present but it certainly shows we are competing with the best despite our one-dimensional attack.

Of course i'm pleased for him. He clearly loves his country and he took a massive gamble at 16 I think he's said when he joined Sunderland. He took a few backwards steps from getting a contract at Sunderland when he went to Plymouth. He then captained them at 21? when they weren't getting paid. I'm sure he got help but he wasn't a wealthy man then in a team of maybe not very wealthy people. avg wage at League 2 800 pound? He must abe tough mentally and have a belief in himself.

Came to Barnsley away from any links he had. Again mentally tough. Worked on quite a few things, great. He's very demanding of others on the pitch. McDonald very early felt this yesterday when Murray got in.

I think people take the comments against him and Scowen. It's not that way. It's the system they been asked to play in at times. They need someone to say I stay here and you think about going forward and i'll worry about the other way. I've changed what I think about Hourihane over the last few week and I rally think he can go and have a Premier league career but he needs to be looked after.

Keith Hill annoyed some with it when he mentioned the handbrake. In a way it's what we need now with Hourihane and if he can get that, Hourihanes game will improve or look to have improved DSL and we will get him 10/15 yards higher where he can dictate the play better.

The very last thing this team needs is the handbrake or someone similar

That's a bit clearer. But if we are going to continue with Wingers and a front 2, we don't have room for the handbrake. It's been effective so far, with just the last 2 games have teams lined up to counter our strengths. I think Conor and Josh have a good understanding who holds and who advances and the wingers need to tuck in more and defend the midfield as well as support the full backs.. It's one of Hammill's pet peeves you can hear him talking to
Hecky about, when we get out run in the middle and he's expected to hold position on the wing.

At no stage did we struggle against reading they got a very lucky with that second goal

We've got an excellent side with one of the best attacking options in the dive.

Your opinions are often correct you're often ridiculed for been right you're often the victim of atrocious bullying in here

But on this specific occasion you're wrong

I don't know who this lad Hemsworth Tyke is but he sounds absolutely bonkers. Maybe the forum should have some kind of thing in place where only over 18's can post then we'd be saved from this nonsense. He doesn't look at the league table? The league table isn't a reflection of how good a team are? That's the only reflection of how good a team are. Be telling us next scoring goals isn't an attribute of a striker. Proper nutcase

It means we're statistically the 7th best team in the league over the first 9 games.

For someone who loves stats, you're incredibly against them when they show that we're doing okay.

Without even opening this thread it was obvious it would be a (very) thinly veiled dig at Winnall.

I've been as critical as anyone on here over the years but I only criticised players who were dog ****.
