    Nobody seems to know right information of rules by FA some say takes 2 week affect tykes tv etc others say instant ban surely somebody knows rules

    If we lose the appeal he is banned
    If we win the appeal he isn't.

    The 2 week thing does not apply anymore as it also restricts frivolous appeals.

    Yes, but we'll have been working on a game plan all week with the starting 11. This will include McGeeghan. No McGeeghan = change of starting 11 = change of game plan. On a Friday ....

    According to the FA Disciplinary manual the outcome should be known today:-

    Matters falling within this Fast Track 1 shall ordinarily proceed in accordance with timetable set out herein. The timetable seeks to give effect to the principle that it is in the interest of the parties and of sporting integrity that, wherever possible, matters falling within the scope of this Fast Track 1 are concluded ahead of the Player’s next fixture. As a general guide, the following schedule will ordinarily apply:

    General Guide (where the incident takes place on Fri/Sat/Sun)

    Charge 6pm Tuesday

    Reply / Submissions 6pm Wednesday

    Regulatory Commission Thursday

    I’ll admit, not having McGeehan would be a blow to us but I don’t think for a second that we haven’t prepared for the game without him.

    Even worse when you see the limited grounds for appeal - definitely an assumption of 'guilty unless proved innocent', unfortunately.

    Worse still is that the hearing is taking place in Monkwearmouth and the panel is a Mr P Collingwood, a Mr S Cram and a Ms K Adie :rolleyes:
