@YTBFC I was really glad when you started posting again and always grateful for the little bits of info you give us but as far as priority for Wembley goes only two words should enter the equation.... Colchester stub!
If we turn it round, it should be a ballot for season ticket holders on an equal footing. Nearly all fans could give an argument why they should have preference in the ballot and I just hope we don’t see a repeat of last week by any that miss out. I’ve accepted I won’t get a ticket but I’m glad that there would be fans to cheer the team on.
Well one is, if say 40 members of one of the regional supporters clubs were successful in the ballot and none of their organisers were, whose going to run/ organise travel for them.
They don't need a match ticket though, to organise travel. Imagine the scenes. ST holder denied a ticket, because the bus driver automatically got one.
And the Liverpool and Wembley FA cup ties. Don’t need the Colchester away stub though because I didn’t go that year
+ was suppose to be for priority for tickets. The shirt shouldn't make any difference at all. If that was the case nobody should buy a + membership and just buy a shirt separately at a later date or not at all if it doesn't make a difference to priority.
Who sad owt about a bus driver Mr Pedantic,I said organisers of the various Supporters clubs, you know the people who run and organise coaches to every away game. I said there could be a good argument for them to have tickets. I am not an organiser or have anything to do with running a Supporters club
As had been said + for away ticket priority . Wembley is neutral . There’s been + members missed out in the ballot Monday and I would imagine there was a mixture of + and STs there on Monday and same at Wembley should we be fortunate enough to get there . Ordinary away games I wouldn’t be disappointed to miss out on a ticket as that was what the option . To miss Wembley or a home game because of it I’d tear my ST up but it won’t come to that as the club has been fair .
If the draw had been for another game at Oakwell I could agree with you but Wembley is a different matter . To deny those wonderful supporters who made that fantastic noise and support on Monday a Wembley ticket would have been a crime imo . I didn’t enter the draw but I’ll have had my second jab by Wembley should we get there and I’ll be entering that draw . But should I miss out and someone who was at Oakwell also goes to Wembley there won’t be any complaints from me . Also disagree with you about not getting there , I think we will
