You'll do for me. You're playing on the wing. Report for training tomorrow. No rush, just whenever you feel like getting out of bed.
I do a bad job at work I have to work extra hours to fix my sh|t. These delberts get a week off. Seems fair.
Morning? Not sure mornings fit anywhere in my fitness plan, but we could give it a try, see how it goes. No earlier than 11.30, mind. Let's take it one step at a time. No need to jump in with both feet.
Completely agree. They could just copy and paste what they did under Val and it would be a massive improvement on their current state.
They don't deserve time off. The results have been shocking and they need to be at training every day to get fit enough to perform for ninety minutes.
The Hull City performance summed up our season. I was warming to Schopp before they sacked him because I could see that the players might not be good enough and 20/21 might have been as a result of no fans and five subs. Casing point there being our worst performances were towards the back end of last season in the Play-Offs in front of fans. I reckon we'd have beaten Swansea behind closed doors.
I was surprised too - but then looking at Social Media, the majority of other clubs have done the same. Time off and clear their heads? Tbf the last international break where we trained didn’t pay dividends anyway, so maybe a break might do. We can’t get any worse…..
Playing devils advocate, does anyone not think that time away would be a good thing for the players? Having a break away from the club may give the players some downtime to comeback refreshed and actually ready to put a shift in. Having the players in the building training all week may have a negative effect. As a lot of other clubs are on holiday and we know players are mates with players from other clubs. Each player will respond differently to different situations hopefully this will provide the right choice in the long run. I’m not bothered if they go on holiday or are on training all week. Just putting an alternate view forward that’s all.
