Loved our lockdown week in Northumberland last Autumn. Alnwick, Amble, Bamburgh, Dunstanbrough, Seehouses. Stayed in Beadnell, booked again for this year.
Did the National Museum of Flight near North Berwick other day, North Berwick is a lovely place. Just beware when you cross the Scottish border the A1 is riddled with speed Cameras.
Pity about the wind turbines in shot. Though they are a positive way of generating clean energy, they sadly have their negatives too. I do love a good sunset though.
They partly add to the shot in a way. The night before they looked really spooky spinning in the sea haze.
We are in the area to the left as you go through the main gate. Lake View. It's quiet, about 5/10 minutes walk from the busy bit where the shops and pub are. The caravans are nicely located and spaced with plenty of trees around unlike down nearer the sea where they are crammed together in rows. We booked this through ukcaravans4hire.com and put Primrose Valley into the search. It was a late booking so we were lucky. You may not find anything at short notice.
Update Thursday..... It's cloudy this morning but fairly warm. Probably about 20 degrees. Still a stiff breeze.
Im at sutton on sea for the weekend again. Went last weekend and its was stonksville, hoping for the same this weekend. My legs were like a stick a nougat.
