    Just seen the goal again. His reaction was absolutely superb. Wasn’t stood right next to it and beat everyone by a country mile to it.

    Yeah, I don’t agree with that. Unless Vale finish above 6th, which is where I’d predict us to finish if I had to pick a spot right now.

    All these folk claiming we should have resigned Cole. Does anyone think for a second he'd have wanted to come back?
    With a choice of us and Port Vale, I think he'd have still chosen there.

    To be fair, I never put Cole or Woodrow forward as signings for us. I just defended their respective Oakwell careers and suggested they weren’t the ‘poor’ signings others reckoned. They will both score regularly at this level.

    I actually felt McAtee would have been a really sensible addition and it’s a shame they couldn’t come to an agreement with his club. I just find it pretty disappointing that after months of being able to, we didn’t strengthen the frontline. Again.

    We can only hope now, that injuries don’t hit in that area.

    My apologies for this very dull and serious post.

    Cole or Woodrow would have been great signings that should have been serious and affordable options to improve us further.
