Is it a strange analogy? I mean I feel like you're stressing and worrying about a difference in attendance numbers when there's always a difference in attendance numbers. EFL have confirmed fans will be at Playoff games within the guidance given. We're ok, it's a done deal.
Never a doubt in my mind (see earlier post) that Mark Drakeford, Senedd leader (Labour) would 'allow' fans at the Liberty Stadium (the guy lived and worked in Swansea for many years.) And for those who whinge about there being Welsh teams in the EFL I'll remind them again that up to 2016 it was known as the Football league by which time some Welsh Clubs had been in the Football League for over 100 years. The so called EFL is privileged to have Welsh teams in it! Good luck to the Ironsides in the playoffs.
Ok mate thanks. Not stressing at all It just seems like two different scenarios in the two "different countries ". Just don't want Barnsley fans to miss out after a fantastic season
Disagree. Cardiff supporters are shïtebags, with their tiresome anti-English sentiment. Where were half their team born, again? Oh, right - awkward. And I got called a cûnt by a Swansea fan after we'd won the play-off final, so they can fĕck off, too. I realise it will never change. The Welsh teams are here to stay, despite the country having its own government, and there being a Welsh league for them to play in. But I wish it were not so. I understand there are historical anomalies - Vaduz, Monaco, Derry City - but I still don't like it.
every time I see one of your posts I'm reminded of your recent 'Toby' post - can't get the visual image out of my mind!
not seen anything about players opinion re playing in empty stadiums - maybe some feel less pressure playing in empty stadiums and can up their game ??? difficult to assess but was playing in empty stadiums one factor in the excellent season we've had -- whilst acknowledging the biggest factor in the success has been VI.!
Conversely, we were crap in an empty ground when Struber was in charge. Don't think it has much to do with the crowd....
