    His claims were made on the Alex Jones show (there's a huge red flag in itself) and are apparently based on a study which suggested that the virus had some form of mutation which made it spread more efficiently amongst humans. He asserts that this proves it was bioengineered and must have escaped from a lab, but it could have occurred naturally.

    I'm not sure about his claims I'm currently reading, as I don't have time to source them, but I'm not sure the *actual idea*an accidental leak from a biological research lab is impossible, is that far removed as say... the idea a nuclear reactor might meltdown.

    Yeah, I'd say on the balance of probabilities it's extremely likely to be natural. But it does raise questions about the risks of one of these places having a oopsie...
