Extending the contract or giving a new one would be beneficial here, the increase is only applied after the fixed price contract ends so delaying that delays the increase.
as long as the customer agrees to any new contract or contract extension that's fine - my gripe with BT was that they foisted a 24 month contract on me with no discussion whatsoever - it was only by chance I found out.
No they haven’t. But what they have done is made a mistake… in my favour. The amendments have been emailed to me and I’m now paying £14.48 next month, then £19.50 until August… then back to my normal £23 from September. Haha bonus. That’s what they get for trying to fleece fowk!!
excellent - we have to challenge these mega-companies - I too ultimately benefitted from BT's incompetence. I wonder though how many people don't realise they're being fkd over or simply don't fight their corner.
I think that’s the biggest problem, that not challenging it and just accepting it. They must get away with millions of peoples money as there will be that many people that doesn’t lay it on them and stick up for themselves
