    Only caught the second half. Freak result? Or something else?

    Thought Liverpool had the title wrapped up with City & faltering & how impressive they were against Chelsea & Arsenal. Wonder if they had the same attitude

    They’ve just beaten Liverpool, current Premier League champions, 7-2. I doubt they’re worrying about how many goals were deflected.

    Liverpool since covid restart have looked a shadow of what they were. No crowds have killed their intensity in defence. Van Dijk looks human again and liable to mistake. Leeds could have done the same to em 1st day of this season. Everton are only team that look happy to not have crowds and are playing without fear and with intensity.

    Liverpool were dreadful especially at the back, but let’s be honest how poxy were Villa with that their shots, they could have hit them in the opposite direction and it would have deflected in the way their luck was going.

    Interesting that Shaqiri has now tested positive as well on top of Thiago & Mane.

    Baring in mind it often takes days for you to show as positive there’s a good chance most of the squad had it when they played Villa.

    If I was Southgate I’d be isolating the Liverpool players in the England squad from the rest of the group.
