    I've not paid any real attention to it, but like some others have said, it feels like its another attempt to create a competition that the football bodies can leverage for profit and it's just cramming the calendar even more.

    If we roll this thing forward 5-10 years, could it be that we face other nations who aren't in our respective pot much much less? So the smaller nations play the smaller nations but don't get tested much against bigger nations outside of tournament qualification, or that we have less time in the calendar to play teams from afar and not in the UEFA pool.
