I’m not sure I agree, I think their pace would’ve been too much for him. but that’s what makes it interesting!

    Maybe saving him for Wycombe?

Outclassed tonight. Chalk it, and move on. Wycombe will be in our faces on Wednesday and make no mistake we will need to be on it to win.

He would’ve offered more than Kane, who I think should be playing further forward.

Would like to see James, Kane and Mowatt in a three

Bitterly disappointed by tonight's result. However, you could see the difference between an expensively assembled team on the top of their game, challenging at the top of the Championship and a mid table one. The finishing of the two sides was stark. But if we're wishing to progress, that's the standard we're going to have to aim for.
I dare say there'll be some who'll be chomping at the bit to criticise their least favoured player/s, along with individuals who rarely post when we win, but you can be damned sure they'll always find the time to do so when we lose!:D
We've got to take it on the chin, learn from the individual errors that've been made and move onto next Wednesday and, hopefully, make Wycombe pay for tonight's result.
I'm struggling to think of a MOTM, but I'll nominate Brittain.

I agree with that but not sure how it would fit the current system which Cardiff aside has looked okay.

Lovely stuff. Drop Kane who has been one of our better players in the past few games. Hindsight is 20:20.

It says to me that their defence isn’t that solid away from home - yet we still couldn’t score. :)

There's not half been a load of ******** spouted on here tonight. Glad it's already 10.45 here, so I can go to bed!

    Premier League 4 Championship 0

We gave them some chances to score and they took them. We had some chances and didn't. No sleep lost tonight - next up, Wycombe.

They weren't rock solid, but they looked better than any other team we've played in the league this season. Loads of quality in midfield and up top. Solanke is a top player.

Agree with that. Hope the extra day of rest helps us against Wycombe.

I’d pick Matty James, if fit, every game. Not intended as a slight on Kane, whatever you might think. At the moment James has the class and the experience.
