train route

There's direct trains to Soton from Leeds - but it's 4hr40m - so add that onto a trip from Glasgow and I suspect you might pay for a flight.

Edit ; the train goes thru Sheffield, so that knocks 40 mins off. But 4 hours on one of those Virgin trains? *shudder*
