    Could have said ‘total’ appearances. Went with ‘ever’. Never mind. It’s tough enough to come up with quiz questions on bfc that people can’t just look up on soccerbase etc straight away and therefore spoil it for others who want to guess or work it out, which makes the convoluted
    Record number of consecutive games without a goal is 8. Not far off 9 as you say.
