    Credit where it’s due. The electorate of North Shropshire have told the Tories just how unacceptable is their behaviour, no point being negative here they’ve done everything we could have asked of them. Well done.

    Don’t get too excited. Nothing but a token protest vote.
    Come a general election that area will once again return a Tory.

    It crossed my mind Ian...the turnout was quite low 46% as compared to 68% at the GE...20,000 ( almost )... didn't bother to vote this time.

    I agree lads and happy with the bloody nose given out but I very much think this Lib/Dem victory will be short lived.

    Trouble is seat has gone to Lib Dems who are less than pointless.

    Good that it's not Tory but not too much better.
