That will be the case imo for some of the candidates as Ipswich, Sunderland Jobs etc are inundated with agents pushing their clients but as they are filled the list will have depleted until we are in the situation we are in now where we are one of the bigger clubs left . Unless Shrewsbury outbid us!
For me it’s getting left too long to the point that there’ll be only Grant McCann left to take the job and judging by reactions to him on social media, very few (myself included) want him here. GG stated that he wants the club to return to the Championship at the first time of asking so if that’s the ambition, why would they seriously consider McCann who has done nothing to suggest he’s the man to deliver that? He’s already failed in League One with a team who should be at least pushing for the playoffs so it’s a massive “no thank you” from me.
I completely agree the club should spend all its time communicating messages to fans saying the process is on going rather than getting on with the job in hand
Yeah, for any aspiring manager we're an absolute joke. What with generally being a top end team in the division we're now in plus the change of ownership etc. For anyone with an ounce of foresight it's a genuine opportunity. It never ceases to amaze me that the people who constantly cry from the rooftops that we're too good for League One, that the Championship is our rightful home are the same ones who run us down as deadbeat little old Barnsley when it suits them.
