The point that you wasted the majority of your day when 20 seconds checking the website would have told you you they were shut?

I don't think it's a big deal particularly, especially considering the staff will have worked over the Christmas period. I don't imagine they would have had a rush of retail sales today and we have an online retail store and ticketing site. They are open tomorrow when most of our fans will probably be making the journey. I agree the recorded message should have reflected the fact though.

They should have just asked the redfearns door woman to stand outside telling everyone to **** off. Never met the lady but I like the sound of her

They shouldn't be closed to the public for 7 days out of 9. I can sort the problem out tomorrow, but I will now be in a long queue with scores of others, who could also have been dealt with more leisurely. I don't expect anyone connected to the club thinks that wasting their customers time is a big deal.

You could have messaged me directly, I'd have attempted to help.

You seem distressed, I hope you resolve your issue tomorrow.

    Take care.

Thats down to the gaffer(s) how they rota the shifts in the shop/ticket office to give people time back.

My job at the time was quite easy to predict when it was quiet. Last two weeks in jan without fail.

Point still stands, a retail outlet should not be closed over christmas week bank holidays excluded.

Pontyender can't get there until 2.30. That's why he wanted to sort it out before match day. I spoke to main reception this morning and they can't change seats over the phone on a match day. The 211400 number is still on answering machine by the way.

I think it's only fair the club staff get a few days off.... The first team have had the last 8 games off!!!
