    A long time ago when I lived and played in the Far east we had a mad Scottish coach. He used to say there's no such thing as a friendly, it's a "Challenge Match".

    I despise that club and hope we batter then 10-0. However I don’t think I’ll be tipping anyone out of wheelchairs or anything on this occasion.

    But I do agree in the sense I’m disappointed we’re playing them in a friendly. This fixture should never be seen as ‘friendly’.

    I don’t think they’ll be trouble outside the ground though.

    Not my words - Wilders.
    They have 3 friendlies - one of those against Barnsley - and after those games Wilder will determine which players to release.
    It’s all gearing up to be something that isn’t just a kick about in the park.

    Im not one for teams jetting off, for pre season friendlies, id rather em play local teams, Barnsley its a local town for local people , we could even av a game against ROYSTON

    Our lads will be pushing to hopefully gain a place in the first game. Can’t remember last time we had so many fighting for so few relevant places. Seriously haven’t a clue to the 1st starting 11 against Fulham. My only predictions will be Mowatt, Woodrow and possibly McGeehan. One I would like to see given the nod would be Styles. So the Sheffield united game could be pivotal. Although I’m guessing Daniel has most of it sorted in his head.
