Very well done. So critical they did that. Wonderful second half performance.

Big shout outs to the subs on full and home debuts. Cleary and Kelly deserve so much praise. Onwards and upwards when it looked so bleak.

PS - I think MDG goes to do a throw in but gets affected by his Gallic shrug mid throw.

Well done reds on the comeback.. looked decent second half after a horrendous first.. But still miles off being a balanced side.

 

Tough on Burton. They look decent. They have a real chance of a comfortable season. Plus they seem to admire Barnsley so much that not only did they sign so many ex Reds they also put Mido on their badge.

 

Shown more fight in these first 2 games than all last season combined. Subs made a big impact that is a huge plus.

 

Bang on, the difference between the fitness levels under the last berk and Houriane is startling.

 

Thought Mael did very well today. He even won quite a few headers. That pass what resulted in a corner was almost world class. Earl on the other hand, aside from a couple of good passes, was very bad imo, including the second half.

A fantastic second half performance, at home no less. Bit more consistency in performance we will be laughing, especially with Shep and Roberts back.

McGoldrick has won more balls and retained them in two games than any centre forward did for us in the whole of last season.

But dear me they need to learn a lesson; that first half was shocking and hopefully the blueprint for how to proceed in this league was given in that second half.

 

Half time I was defeated.

That was a second half to be proud of.

Not world beaters, but we finally got ourselves in gear.
