    Well I'm guessing we are desperate to get him off the wage bill, but if he does well in the first half of the season we might be gambling on getting something for him in Jan assuming the loan allows that. There is still a 1-year extension option if the fact we are in league one (and probably will be at the end of the season) allows it to be triggered.

    Got to assume styles has forced it. Any champ-level side will do, to keep in the Hungary picture. If it genuinely is a loan deal with no loan fee or sale option involved, it’s truly terrible business from our end. Staggeringly bad.

    No doubt Styles wanted out. The thing is it would appear there were no realistic offers for him. Maybe we are happy to move the bulk of his wages off the books for now and, if he has a good spell at Millwall, we may get a reasonable offer for him.
