Yoganathan briefly slipped my mind. I agree that he is another very talented midfielder, for sure. That makes six good players in midfield. An embarrassment of riches, counterbalanced by serious defensive weaknesses.

We've probably got the most strength in depth in the division - Connell, Bland, Kelly, Phillips, Russell, Yoganathan, DKD (he's still an attacking midfield player, even if we are determined not to play him there), and Vickers looks every bit an attacking midfielder to me, certainly not a striker - and the greatest variety of players, all offering something different, but whether or not we can mold them into the best midfield unit in the division remains to be seen.

We've got form with this too. Connell, Kane and Phillips were supposedly the best midfield in the division. Then Ipswich made them look like school boys.

We've got a lot of talent, certainly, but I'm not sure how a club that claims to lose three quarters of a million quid each month can justify having so many players all vying for the few positions in the team available. Particularly when our options for a central striker are so limited and the centre of our defence is so weak.
