    Given our budgets and salary structure, to get somebody better than Woodrow and Morris would require us to unearth another gem, probably on loan like we did with Dike. Personally, I'd rather we sign a replacement for Mowatt, whether that be a LWB to allow Styles to play central or a direct replacement.

    We seem to constantly be wanting another forward. That's why we have 6 or 7 in the squad now, plus two out on loan. And now we appear to be close to signing one more, and linked with another on loan.

    Agree about the two positions you specify but yes, we still need another striker for me.
    Don't think Chaplin is good enough at this level, Frieser isn't really a striker as such, Cole is still unproven at Championship level and Victor is L2 standard at best.

    It's a shame we don't play with wingers. Chaplin has always looked more like a winger to me. I don't know what Frieser is. Is he the new Goran Lovre? He doesn't do much, you don't know what he contributes but the team wins when they're involved.

    That's kind of what I was getting at. The only benefits to them of a loan deal would be to get him off the wage bill. In any case if that Belgian lad is coming I'm guessing that this one is likely to be dead. Could be wrong, obviously. Often am!
