He's made some good runs. He's got a monkey on his back. If he could get one I'm sure you'd see a different player.
Judging by the responses in this thread I'd say it's about 50/50. He's been wasteful for an international but he's giving them a big problem to deal with.
Something that becomes more apparent when you live abroad and not just about football, Brexit, the economy but nearly anything you care to mention. Negativity in the UK has become endemic. Self fulfilling prophesy in some cases.
And as it's often been at Oakwell seems to be a case of picking one guy out and everyone jumping on the bandwagon
Lived abroad in China and Oz for a year apiece mate and it really opens your eyes. Such a miserable nation it's unreal.
He’s actually having a good game, the only reason people are highlighting him is because he is getting the chances, so stands out
Talk about overreaction, nobody hates him ffs, ( miserable nation my arse) but he’s supposed to be in the team to score goals, he patently hasn’t so why not give somebody else a chance? Any striker missing the chances he’s had for England ( not just this game) would get singled out. If he’s contributing but not scoring then at least drop him back and give somebody else a chance.
They all went on within seconds of each other, it’s a football forum, you know to offer opinions like
The annoying thing about England supporters is that you always have to have someone to crap on, even when you're winning. Why can't you just support your team? I wish that you had a team full of Emile Heskeys on the pitch, that's what you miserable people deserve.
