Conte will walk in the summer. A manager of his calibre isn't going to hang around not to win trophies.
I don't rate him either, but ironically he's been one of the better players for Conte in the formation Conte plays - although, I reckon that's just because everyone around him have been poor. How he's got over 40 appearances for England i'll never know. I thought he looked decent in Lisbon & in his early days when he first joined Spurs, but he's never pushed on, at all. Not a top 10 premier league footballer imo. He'd fit in nicely with a Dyche style burnley side though I think
I'd pay to not have him here. So negative everywhere he goes. Yeah he wins stuff, but is it worth the soul of your football club?
Typical Spurs, had the chance of winning silverware under Jose, and sacked him just before the final!.
That did stink. I reckon Levy could have allowed him another week in the job. Sumat definitely went off there.
Mourinho peaked years ago, I think his days are numbered in the top jobs as he seems to have lost his touch.
I think the problems at Spurs aren't down to the Head Coaches it's down to the owner and the players. They've kept the squad together too long and it's gone stale. The players brought in haven't gelled with the players that haven't been moved on and in some cases have been moved on themselves. In doing this they've contrived to keep crap like Winks, Doherty, Davies and Dier. They've being crying out for two decent centre backs since Pochettino was there and haven't done that either. Eriksen leaving for Inter Milan was a body blow because they still haven't replaced him. Dembele and Wanyama were too quickly cast aside in favour of Dier 9out of position) and Winks. Ali should have been sold the first time he lost form. I could go on and on. A lot of what I see at Spurs I see at Oakwell too. I know they're 7th in the Premier League and have the England captain up front but the crap going off behind the scenes and poor recruitment is there for all to see.
