I agree totally with your last line. Look at Putin's Russia. A mixed economy has always seemed the way forward. Look at Germany. Good healthcare and state benefits, a low level of home ownership, but good quality housing, state owned utilities largely. A centre right government has been in charge for ages now, but they don't drive to sell all the state assets off the their mates like the Tories do.
You & millions of others are the reason this shower are in power now, ill educated half wits. Now not all Tories are thus & there are some decent one's on this board but fo chuff sake Sploppy get an education.
If you reply you will see the entire and highlight the text between the QUOTE start and end you don't want to use and delete it you can then add your comment in the usual way below the edited quote. HTH.
Alternatively you can just highlight the part of the text you want to quote and click on the "Reply" pop-up that should appear. That might not work on all browsers and devices though, in which case you'd need to edit the quote manually as @Tekkytyke describes.
What?!?! This is like the day I found out you can hold space on the iPhone and move your cursor about freely!
Definitely new to me! New or old certain posters need to be aware of this - might stop those five paragraph quotes to respond to one sentence.
