    Do you seriously think they don’t want success. If you take Nice as a model, they are now selling players for £25-£30million. Are in Europe. Are one of the top clubs in France.

    It may not happen overnight but they certainly won’t be in it to make a “profit and retain an interest” in Stevie Mallan.

    Give the owners a chance. They may well be getting ducks in a row and working on the long term plan. They haven’t even owned the club a year. I’m bloody pleased they haven’t come in, spending way ahead of income, building up club debts, breaking FFP.

    Perhaps a couple of cheeky loans from France, as well as a couple of top premiership loans to supplement what we have. Won’t impact FFP if we aren’t paying the wages.

    I think you'll find he mis spoke. Instead of saying they don't want success what he actually meant to say was they DO want success. It's kinda like a double negative. I hope that clarifies things.
