So the boards apologists have come out of the woodwork tonight.

But I'd like to know what the attraction is because I just don't see it. I did at first when they first arrived but as times gone by they've just said and done things that have completely changed my opinion of them to the point where I just want them gone the sooner the better.

I think you're right about moaning fans. There were people moaning last year, there are people moaning about Man Utd's team, Arsenal etc etc... Fans moan all the time about their players and what happens on the pitch even sometimes when they have a team at the top of the table.
As you alluded to though, the 'moaning' now is not really about the football on the pitch as such (although related) its much more serious than that and relates to the entire running of the club and the intentions/purposes of the owners. People are suspicious, worried even perhaps frightened about the current situation and they get NOTHING of substance from the board to allay fears and to give them the impression the club is being run for the fans' benefit. I think its correct to be suspicious of everything that comes out of the club now and although its not my place to call people out for attacking or defending the board (its up to individuals to take their own view) I personally can not defend this board whatsoever. Period. Maybe that was why this thread got posted in the first place, because the OP was frustrated, concerned with pro- board comments?
We shouldn't be falling out amongst ourselves though about who says what on this board because its a side issue. What we should really be asking is 'Can we really trust this board?' and for me the answer is a clear 'no, we can't.'

Horrible, disgusting stuff. I've never drank my own urine, but can't imagine it'd taste on worse than tea! :D

It felt like we were getting better game by game. I know you can always drop unlucky with injuries but we had so much momentum & belief.

I didn’t think any of the play off teams were good that season, if you did then fair enough we disagree. I remember that Fulham team having some good individuals & if we’d dropped on them then maybe we’d have got beat I don’t know. Some teams just have your number like Swansea last season.

Basically if we’d kept that team together I believe we’d have made the play offs & I’d have believed we could’ve gone up.

Whether we would have or not I think it’s still a fair point that it was wrong to sell when we’d made all that money already that season. If we haven’t got belief & something to dream of as football fans what’s the point?

Fair points, I did think Fulham were good though I remember them beating us 3-1 at oakwell they looked a really strong team to me and were comfortable winners.

It would have been nice to have kept the squad together but winnall forced his move and more or less it was all arranged with agent prior to January. I remember hecky fuming with him and after we played them later on in the league hecky told radio Sheffield they hadn't talked since his move and had a go at him at full time. So without winnall it would have been a very had task.

Conor was more professional about his move but can you force people to stay who want out?

I was just pointing out they have sold people in there 4 year stint. When someone said they haven't really sold anyone.
