    Just saying how it comes across to me and others. Comments like the one I provided above don't do them any favours as it is nonsensical and makes them out to be wanting to defend them at any cost. It actually supports the fact that most fans will criticise when there's something to criticise and not moan when things are seemingly ok.

    On that last point. Did you see the meltdowns when we stopped winning every week last season? I think a lot of football supporters like to moan regardless. There’s just times like now where it’s more valid than others.

    I still don’t think pointing out that positive results on the pitch reduce complaints makes someone a board defender.

    Yes it works both ways. Doesn't mean they don't exist though, because they do. And at least one of them I suspect works at the club.

    Nobody is denying they don’t exist. But do you think there’s enough of them on here to start a thread directly calling them out in a derogatory way without saying who they are? Think it’s poor form myself.

    The negative results and performances like we are seeing are going to cause complaints and worry. Relegation will cost us around 6 million. Previously when we were relegated under patrick he loaned the club money to sign mawson, conor, winnall etc the last time under this lot they had just took over and the accounts looked healthy after all the previous player sales. This time if the worst happens will be a worrying time imo.

    Look as other people have now stated those defending the board are quite obvious I'm not going to name people because then it just becomes personal and abusive. I said the board apologists had come out last night to defend them they had I didn't say they couldn't hold that view. But I just don't understand what the attraction is with people with no connection what so ever with the town who are supposed to be rich people yet have put little if any of their own money into the club in fact took £750k out appear to be running the ground they are responsible for into the ground. Make factually incorrect statements far too regularly. They also seem to have an unnerving knack of turning every silver lining into a cloud. There are more things about them I could list but to be honest I think it's all been said a thousand times. I honestly think if Conway started killing puppies in the center circle at Oakwell some would still find an excuse for him and I just don't get it.
    I think that's enough said by me on this particular subject.

    So it isn’t personal or abusive because you’re doing it under a generic label, even though you’re claiming everyone knows who they are?

    Jesus wept. I can’t think of a single person on the BBS right now even close to defending the club to this level.

    Agree to disagree on that front then. Have that discussion with them on here rather then putting a label on them and going on the attack. It can often be enlightening to see where the other person is coming from, even if you ultimately still don’t agree. Not seen anyone have that discussion yet.
