You know me, mate. Lockdown isolation is like a fish to water. I didn’t need a virus to cut me off from the world, that’s just a bizarre cruel bonus. Got a lovely video off 17 year old Alf ploughing through a foot of snow, but it’s too long to attach on this page. 10 more weeks & he’ll have given me the adopted year I hoped for.
Upload it here: https://streamable.com/ that's what I've been using and if you post the link here it embeds it. No need to sign up or anything.
Thanks JD, that’s useful. Let’s see if it works. Interesting as Alf is a recent, very old adoptee. Not likely to see this much snow again..
As some of our kids teachers were on site and they had to get home they still called a snow day. Sent out a message telling everyone to enjoy themselves and send pictures in. I may have complained a lot about the school situation but I 100% support this one, the excitement on the kids faces when I got home from this afternoon was a real pick up for me.
We only have support staff so lessons still went ahead, just asked teachers to bear in mind that the key worker/vulnerable kids would be late to lesson 3. Feel a bit sad for them actually, it was a proper snow, snow day today.
