    What about Army and Navy sweets, originally handed out to servicemen during the First World War, hence the name. Supposedly, they used to contain tincture of opium.

    Just been to the Co Op. packets of liquorice allsorts £1.50 reduced to 30p. Only 5 packets left so I got the lot. That is my comfort food for tonight.
