Looks like i'm on my own but i thought he struggled massively, and if they had any strikers it would have been game over after 15 minutes. The one player that i thought struggled. We were much more solid with Earl and de Gevigney there - despite constant pressure they didnt fashion one decent chance after the sending off. Both yellows he got were a joke, like.
Could shepherd have him prosecuted for sexual assault for the first yellow? It didn’t make sense at the time and it’s even more weird watching it back.
You're not alone in your view, though I wouldn’t be quite as harsh. I think he could come into his own when we're up against a more physical forward line, but he does seem a bit vulnerable to skill and pace at the moment. I agree that Maël and Earl looked more solid overall, though I suspect they might also struggle against a more physical attack. It's good that we have options, though ideally, I’d like to see us bring in a centre-back with a bit more pace.
