Oh that I'm well aware of. But those who didn't advocate it, can't change it. Unless the electorate who voted for it have had significant deaths and haven't been replaced by younger new voters, or turnout demographics change, the ones who voted for this are the ones who are going to have to turn tail and either not vote or change their vote.
When it was revealed Trump had contracted Covid-19 my very first reaction was that it was some kind of ruse to help win votes. That's the President of the United States of America. Arguably the most powerful and influential position on earth and all I could think was it was a scam. I hate it that I thought that, that I live in a world where I expect to be lied to and react accordingly. And we're through the looking glass now, we're never going back. It's beyond depressing.
https://www.mirror.co.uk/science/coronavirus-vaccine-good-news-oxford-22887875 They will be hoping they can churn out the vaccine shortly so it deflects attention from the useless app and the terrible success rate of tracing people before they spread the virus further. We would have been alright with a vaccine that simply stops you getting badly ill, so to read it probably will stop you catching it in the first place which wasn't something they were sure about is wonderful news.
I suppose a key thing they need to test for/state next is how long the vaccination protects you for - maybe it'll need to be added to the "cocktail" of germs included in the annual flu vaccinations............
The man who attacked the law firm last month was inspired by Patel's lines about "Do-Gooders" and "Activist Lawyers". Can she be prosecuted for inciting terrorism?
