Difficult one to call. If we can pull it off, I might finally start looking up rather than down. It's one of my closest games, and I cannot recall seeing us win there. So because I cannot be there, lets be positive and say REDS win 0-2. Not being superstitious, the lack of home support will tip things our way (please).
We've had a few Desmonds with them in recent times and they are usually full of goals over 2.5 comes in alot. 0-0 is super rare between us. I reckon we will win 2-1 like the other night. A fair few bookies have us odds on for an away win, which they just don't do for us at this level.
City lost 5 on the bounce, 4 against decent sides. No drawn game in their last 17! Plus they've a new manager, we've won 2 in a row so something has to give. I'd settle for a draw! Edit: last 12 games only Brum and Wycombe have less points. Maybe I'll go for a win!
Also two teams with the highest number of interceptions in the league. We need to keep the ball much better today otherwise it could be a frustrating afternoon.
Think we will see players busting a gut as no doubt new manager could be watching on today from somewhere. They aren’t playing with the pressure of knowing the old manager could be sacked now too. Clubs usually do ok under caretaker managers. Let’s hope it doesn’t go that way today.
We had 15 shots, they had 1. I'd say we smashed them. The BBC says "Carlton Morris grabbed the only goal..." Smash. Grab. I rest my case, your honour.
