The Bay Filey is the next site along from Primrose Valley. Butlins Holiday Camp was previously on the site.
It's a great facility. The houses are very modern. There's a pub, coffee shop and pool on site and the beach
is a ten minute walk away. Before the lockdown, we visited twice. Recommend it to anyone.

Yes it looks impressive from the beach, we were next door on the vast Haven site. Walked from there down past Reighton Sands to where the cliffs start and back. I Think we covered about 11 miles. I really like that stretch of coastline

I've walked the Cleveland Way cliff top stretch from Filey to Saltburn several times, it's magnificent scenery and a brilliant 4 day walk. There's a good bus service all along the route, so it's possible to pick a central base (e.g. Robin Hood's Bay) and do it all from there. My 4 days would be Filey - Scalby - Robin Hood's Bay - Runswick Bay - Saltburn.
