The thing is the majority of Barnsley fans didn't give him abuse. His reaction was directed at all Barnsley fans, staff, ex colleagues etc. He made sure he covered the whole lot, gesticulated to every corner of the ground. Total lack of respect to genuine fans who followed him, and more importantly to the club who gave him an opportunity, developed him, and paid his wages.
we all know the problems an agent can create - ask Rebekah Vardy! Winnall wasn't signing the contract in isolation - we don't know who else was present - managers/solicitors/club representatives ? Maybe he wasn't given the option of signing at another time. He may not have known of the passing of Rimmo - Even if he had known I wouldn't say it was disrespectful to sign when he did. Now, Winnall had faults -see Fired's post - but lets not hark back all of five years !
