Coming into land over the sea onto the runway with the wing looking like it might touch the sea puts me on edge. We've landed from the opposite end too occasionally, think it depends on wind direction. One time it was too windy and we had to land at Porto Santo for an hour while the wind speed dropped. The alternative was to go to tenerife. The captain said it's eased a bit I'll give it a go, white knuckle landing in funchal worst I've had!
