Reminds me of a Physics lesson where the teacher wrote the name of the scientist who was famous for a tube used for measuring sound waves - the name of the scientist August Kundt - you can imagine how that went down in a class of teenagers ... "Sir how do you pronounce that sir etc"
I remember very well doing that experiment in a physics lesson along with @bright red, back in the 70s at Holgate. Having listened to the preamble, it was then time to fetch the equipment from the store room. At that point @bright red uttered the words "Come on, let's get the Kundt out". Guffaw! I still remember it to this day, nearly 50 years later
