    There’s a Roy Race/Melchester Rovers store online somewhere. I got a red Melchester Rovers t shirt, about £20 but can’t remember. Nice too.

    Osbert Guffles. In training he was a deadshot. He used to hit the 'O's in the advertising sign, 'Ogilvy's Onion Soup'. He wasn't so hot in the matches until the manager had a brainwave and moved the sign to right behind the goals.

    Gorgeous Gus. As I recall he was an aristo with his own butler. No good for us though his work rate was non existent. He just scored goals but the pass must be on his foot or he would ignore it.
