Loved that. Made me chuckle, and endeared me even more to him! I hope we sign him permanent. His passion, willingness and fight is fantastic to watch. I love him.

I think we all do & it does beg the question why was he not given a chance in the first half of the season ? especially when the left back/wing back position was a problem , it beggers belief .

Yeah, he must have been absolutely skint and desperate for work. He’s probably on minimum wage and just grateful to have a job…

Or, he just wanted to carry on playing and Luton were the only championship club to make him an offer. I’ll be surprised if Luton are paying him anything remotely close to what West Brom were paying him.

We dont tend to pay transfer fees, our whole squad cost just over £1mn and our wage ceiling is about £6,000 a week - I suspect Snodgrass is on about £3-4,000 a week. We are in the bottom two for total wages and transfer payments. Our cup match on BBC v Chelsea this week will pay for this signing through to the summer, £125,000 apparently for that. Every bit a Nathan Jones type of player, gets stuck in and works his nuts off. We also have four midfielders out with long term injuries!
