It's because everyone, coaches and players, seem to be crippled by fear in these games. Players more concerned about keeping shape than they are about winning or keeping the ball. A coach terrified to make changes.

On Saturday, I saw a team that didn't really play for each other. Too many players happy to just watch while a team mate ran down a blind alley. Not enough players showing for the ball, or joining in the challenges to help a team mate out. Not enough determination to win any second balls.

It was just rank bad, and Poya seems to accept that because the back 4 defended well, until the moment that they didn't defend well and we conceded the goal that will probably relegate us.

I'd have felt better if we'd never started winning and were looking like going down with less than 20 points.

Can't disagree with any of that. Apart from the final paragraph. :)

The last paragraph could really have read, "it's the hope that kills you"

It's key moments that have done for us. Millwall at home, Hull City at home. Coventry away. QPR away. Stoke, Fulham and Reading at home. Peterborough away. Bottlers.

If only somebody had mentioned the lack of experience earlier eh?

Exactly. Who'd have thought that replacing the young raw centre forward with a 27 year old that had hardly ever played, and replacing the club captain with a young raw loan would be a bad idea...

The saving grace is, we're largely playing teams with nothing to play for. Peterborough and possibly Millwall aside, everyone else's season has been decided. Hopefully we can take advantage of a few teams who are 'on the beach'. All of our home games are winnable, Millwall is winnable (considering our recent record there), the problem is winning them of course. Made all the more difficult by Helik's absence.

I think the only game we will win is Peterborough alongside some draws. Maybe 6/7 more points.

Peterborough is the last game I’d expect these bottle merchants to win. We might beat West Brom when it’s too late.

At the minute I wouldn’t put money on us to beat the Krankies even if we were given a 5 goal start.

At the minute, we could improve our bench options by signing the Krankies.
