I hope their fans are more accepting of the facts than the Wigan lot. I made the mistake of stirring that hornets nest last week for suggesting that losing £9m in 18-19, and £14+m in the last 4 seasons was overspending and wasn't sustainable...
I'm not sure they are volunteering. More that the EFL are looking to charge them, have said what the punishment would be and it's now up to Reading to either accept the charge, or take it to the tribunal. Don't think there's much negotiation going on to be honest. That said, given they've been on embargo all season for the same offence, not sure why it's taken the EFL this long to try and enforce any charge, and am sure if Reading only had a 5 or 6 points now, they'd be taking it to tribunal purely as a delaying tactic.
