Loving the way we have played so far; will be more than happy if we play like this all season. A long way to go yet but would love to win to show that we are pushing on from last season. All the pre match talk was about how good QPR have been this season, we barely got a mention in comparison.
Need to get back to playing how we were in the first half. We seem to have changed tactics a little and it's not working as well
They’re setting up way higher up the pitch. Like a front five at times. Means we’re having to choose to sit and mark or press. Was always going to happen second half but if we switch to counter attacking there should be opportunities in behind.
Can opinions actually be 'wrong'? If you can prove that I was factually incorrect, then fair play mate.
Shame we have nothing on the bench, could do with a couple of changes like last season in the mould of dike and Morris.
To be expected QPR would come on strong in second half. Let them have ball, concentrate at the back, try and pick them on the counter
I feared the tactics would be changed for this half. QPR dominant now and we're lucky they haven't scored to make it very nervy. I seem to recall Whoop are a sport performance tracking company. Telemetry and all that. Oh, and to those saying it was never a red card... true but you're forgetting we're Barnsley!
Benson is playing deeper than Palmer was, so we're now giving their cdm time and space to play forward.
But then that's just an opinion. You're confusing wrong with different. I think we're agreed that we were ace in that first half. Where we differ is that I think QPR expected an easier afternoon than this, which allowed us to show what we can do.
