The accounts do not allow us to look at a specified player. However, we know from Intangible Fixed Assets (player transfer Fees paid in the past) that Players with an original purchase price of £1,330,000 were sold in the year. The original transfers fees for those players had a combined amortisation (depreciation) of £1,122,568. Therefore, the difference (£107,432) represents the written down value of the players sold. Furthermore, the Accounts list the profit on all of the players sold to be £4,797,568. Therefore, the selling price of those players was £4,905,000 net of any commissions payable to agents.

Clubs generally show debtors and creditors for transfer fees separately from other debtors and creditors. Either Peterborough do not do so, or they were paid and pay full fees up front.. Any subsequent payments, for example based upon appearances or achievement, will not be included in Accounts until such time as those payments crystalise.
