Players we might not see play in front of the fans

Disagree I always thought the fans had a good connection with cryne, we didn't always agree with some of the decisions he made but I think most sensible people knew he was one of us trying his best in a time when money in football was unreal he was one of the poorest owners at a unfashionable club, he put his own money in bankrolled the accademy off his own back never went hiding when results on the pitch were bad.

As good as Dennis was at the time, football has changed a hell of alot from the time he owned the club.

 

The issue with Cryne seemed to me that In trying to keep the club solvent which we all respected him for he lost some of its soul. It’s not black and white we certainly had a lot to thank him for but at the same time the malaise that seemed to grip oakwell was at least in part his legacy. Complicated but people and relationships often are.
